This unofficial dog park is home to cool spring water that will feel quite refreshing on a hot summer day. Be mindful of algae levels and check before entering the water. During non-algae seasons, Barkin Springs is packed with humans and dogs swimming along the shore.
Auditorium Shores is a 4.5-acre pet-friendly attraction close to the downtown area. Outdoor concerts and festivals are held here quite often. When there isn’t an event being held, people enjoy playing games, flying kites, having a picnic, or playing fetch with their canine companion. Auditorium Shores is right next to Lady Bird Lake.
